UBC Okanagan reaches across Atlantic with University of Exeter partnership
UBC’s Okanagan campus has entered a new partnership agreement with the UK’s University of Exeter that commits CAD$120,000 to develop and expand relationships across both universities. Deborah Buszard, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal of UBC Okanagan, and Steve Smith, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Exeter signed the agreement in Exeter last week.

UBC, Okanagan College open time capsule
A time capsule, complete with dozens of items tucked away 25 years ago by staff at Okanagan University College (OUC), was opened and its contents revealed. On Wednesday, Okanagan College President Jim Hamilton and UBC Okanagan’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor Deborah Buszard watched as the time capsule’s sealed lid was removed.
