UBC recently established the role of Senior Advisor on Indigenous Affairs for its Okanagan campus, with Ian Cull, a founding member of the campus leadership team, named as the first person to hold the position.

UBC Okanagan reaches across Atlantic with University of Exeter partnership
UBC’s Okanagan campus has entered a new partnership agreement with the UK’s University of Exeter that commits CAD$120,000 to develop and expand relationships across both universities. Deborah Buszard, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal of UBC Okanagan, and Steve Smith, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Exeter signed the agreement in Exeter last week.

Ian Cull appointed as Senior Advisor to the DVC on Indigenous Affairs
I am delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Cull as the first Senior Advisor to the DVC and Principal on Indigenous Affairs, effective January 1, 2020, for up to a one-year term. Ian is Anishinaabe, a member of Dokis Indian Band located on the Dokis Indian Reserve in Ontario, Canada.
