On September 2, our campus will once again come alive as we begin another academic year and welcome students to their residences for Move-in Day.

The start of the academic year is my favourite time of the year. Coming together as a campus community for our annual Welcome Back events is a great opportunity to check in, build connections and celebrate.

The ongoing regional wildfires have had a significant impact on students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. Many of you have asked how you might support the wider recovery effort.

Many of us are watching wildfires in the region with real concern. Some members of our community have been placed on evacuation alert or order, others are worried about family, friends and neighbours in the Okanagan. If you are affected, support is available.
